A Labour-run London council has been accused of 'social cleansing' over plans to move thousands of its poorest tenants out of the borough.
Newham council insists it can't afford to keep the the families in the city because of the Government's housing benefits cap - and is trying to move them to move them as far away as Stoke-on-Trent.
