Welcome to UNISON West Midlands Ambulance Service branch website

UNISON is the UK’s largest trade union and is the largest union in the NHS nationally and at WMAS locally.

Nearly half a million UNISON members work in health care in the NHS and for organisations providing NHS services across the UK.

Over 50% of all staff employed at West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust are members of UNISON, including members from E&U, PTS, IEUC and support services. The branch also represents members employed by the private sector who provide ambulance services in the region.

UNISON has over 30 workplace representatives in WMAS across the West Midlands region and offer cover across all sites.

The branch has the support of a full time officer, Ollie Hopkins, who works for UNISON regionally.
