Having endured another very difficult weekend with activity and performance challenges the Trust has formally
escalated to REAP 4.
All operational and EOC staff will be acutely aware of the substantial increase in 999 calls resulting in the huge pressure that the Trust is currently under. Demand has risen significantly with activity in some areas running at over 15 - 20% above forecasted levels. There have also been a series of dramatic spikes in demand particularly in the number of Red calls.
