A fleet of 28 bigger and better emergency ambulances has taken to streets in the Midlands. £3 million has been spent buying the vehicles which have incorporated improvements suggested by crew members and patients.
More than 40 modifications suggested by frontline staff have been introduced. The ambulances are bigger, brighter and are easier to move around in.
