A number of recent cases have highlighted problems over secondary employment in various forms. Your contract of employment clearly states that any secondary employment MUST be agreed with the service. If you do undertake secondary employment contact your line manager who will advise on how to complete the necessary forms. Your contract also states that the service shouldn`t normally refuse this application. If you should have problems contact your local reps who would advise accordingly.
