Ambulance staff have rejected a new bid to break the deadlock in the long-running dispute over 999 call-outs during tea breaks.
And last night the fireman brother of Mandy Mathieson who died waiting for an ambulance as a crewman 800 yards from her door took a break expressed disappointment at the stalemate.
