Having seen the comment on our website regarding the imposition of cameras and audio recording equipment on ambulance vehicles, Senior UNISON Reps have challenged the decision at the highest levels of management.
It appears that a renegade manager had placed them on vehicles without full consultation with the unions. There is no plan to switch on these cameras, or the audio equipment.
There will be discussions and no further equipment will be fitted.
